Christophe
Pinna is a member of the French National Karate team. As a member, Pinna
has helped France to win two consecutive championships in the Male Team
Kumite division at the World Karate Federation tournaments in 1994 (Malaysia)
and 1996 (South Africa).
Pinna has also managed to capture the hearts of fans everywhere
with his incredible techniques. Adept with both hands and feet, he has
delighted audiences with his acrobatic arsenal. At the 1994 French International
Karate tournament alone, Pinna scored against world class karateka with
a spinning hook kick and a spinning jump roundhouse kick!
Pinna's
unique brand of karate can only help to bring more and more people into
karate as it is both exciting and innovative. Watching Pinna and other
athletes like Wayne Otto (England), Thomas Herrero (Spain), Enver Idrizi
(Croatia), and Haldun Alagas (Turkey) is a pure delight.
Christophe Pinna has also helped to design uniforms
and equipment for karateka. Pinna's work with the Winner brand in
France has produced a karate gi designed specifically for kumite. This
uniform, Winner's Kimono First, features an athletic cut with plenty
of room to allow for total freedom of movement. For more information on
this uniform or other products offered by Winner, contact:

08/21/1997 Update:
We have received word from France that Christophe Pinna has seen
this website and is quite flattered by all of the attention. He has assured
us that he will support our efforts to the best of his considerable abilities!
Attention America!!
Christophe Pinna recently conducted some impromptu seminars while traveling
through the United States. The 3 time WKF World Kumite Champion is testing
the waters should he decide to retire from active international competition
and take up coaching full time.
Las Vegas Shotokan's Chief Instructor, James Tawatao was happy to host a last minute seminar
by one of the leading Sport Karate competitors in the world to help provide a broader background
for Las Vegas Shotokan's traditional karate students.
Arrangements were also made with Jack Pressman's Dojo in Wilmette, Illinois to host 5 Pinna Seminars.
Follow this link to photos of the Pinna's Las Vegas Shotokan Seminar.

E-mail the Christophe Pinna desk at DOSHIN
Martial Arts Supplies if you would be interested in hosting future seminars
by this dynamic international Kumite champion.
European Photos:
We were contacted recently by the noted
martial arts photojournalist, Bill Bly.
Bill has recently returned to the US after
an extended stay in Croatia. Bill has sent us
several photos he has of Christophe Pinna
and other top European competitors and
we hope to have them up on the website
in the very near future.

Bill also has a very nice poster he put together from photos taken
at the last WKF Championships in South Africa. This poster will be available
from DOSHIN Martial Arts
very soon.
Bill has been kind enough to let us wander through his huge portfolio
of tournament pictures from around the world to pick and chose from...
