A MESSAGE FROM YOUR HOSTS

Dear Friends and Supporters of Karate:

We would like to invite you to attend the 20th Annual Traditional Karate Tournament International to be held at Bally's Hotel & Casino on April 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, 2000. This year marks the 20th Anniversay of the Tournament, which coincides with the New Millennium and we would like you to join us in the celebration of this special occasion.

The purpose of this Tournament, as conceived by Sensei Ozawa, is and always will be, to gather together all people from the traditional karate world under one roof regardless of organizational affiliation or style, to come together and get to know each other, leaving differences outside the Tournament and instead, work together for the purpose of promoting karate-do as it was done by Sensei Funakoshi many, many years ago.

We wish to extend in advance our sincere thanks and gratitude to our past supporters and to those who are participating for the very first time in this special event. Because of your dedication and support, our event has not only steadily grown in size each year but has attracted competitors and instructors of the highest quality from around the world.

Again this year, we are expecting many, many great masters, instructors and top competitiors from around the world to join us and participate in the promotion of this art we all love so much.
