1997 JKF OCC International Tournament

Another well organized tournament presented by Demura Sensei. Many different styles of Karate were represented - James Field Sensei's ISKF Western Region competitors did an outstanding job of representing the JKA Shotokan system at the Shito-Ryu hosted tournament. Penny Ringwood Sensei, who placed 2nd in Female Individual Kata at the ITKF's Traditional Karate 8th World Championships in San Paolo, Brazil, was spotted checking out the action on Sunday.
